Hauk and Crunch - Territories

No idea what category this comes under exactly XD I am so tired after doing this ;^; It took me two or three days to do...

This was inspired by *tani-tiger, hence why Crunch Bandicoot is there, well, OB Crunch because he kicks more ass than CTTR Crunch >_>

Hauk is there because he's my Crash Bandicoot character. He's a Bengal Tiger but he has an Australian accent from being around Australian scientists. Unlike Crunch who was immediately gifted with the ability of human speech, Hauk had to learn how to speak from scratch.

Also he's constantly angry and he likes to pick fights; he's very short tempered.

Hauk and Crunch have two separate territories and unfortunately for Hauk, he found Crunch's by mistake. Crunch tried to make him back away but Hauk being the bugger he is, is standing his ground. And tigers like having vast boundaries/territories and will fight for it [well Hauk will at least >< He's one heck of an idiot for challenging a Bandicoot with a metal forearm ¬¬].

Anyway, Crunch was out hunting and he stumbled across a new smell, a feline smell, one he may not have come across before [I don't really know if Tiny Tiger smells like Hauk]. So, thinking his family [The Bandigers] were in danger he pursued the smell and came across Hauk who was dawdling. Crunch was not happy with the intruder, so he confronted him, and, unfortunately for the two of them, they met.

Hauk is pretty fluent in human speech after many years of being around humans but there is a line to his vocabulary; he can swear but he can't pay compliments as no one complimented him; they only swore at him. And Hauk has no interest in women whatsoever [and that does not mean he's gay ¬¬] he's oblivious to women and their "attractiveness" because he has never experienced love before... Oh well XD

The colouring took me only an hour to do but the shading killed me X_x The highlights also murdered me. So I hate highlighting stuff now; I had to do it so many times to get it to show up! ><

Like the lone fir/pine tree in the background on the mountain? There was meant to be more but I seemed to have forgot to do it. Also I've drawn a huge Venus Flytrap in the background; it's the red spotted thing XD

The mountains on the left is where Hauk lives and the forest on the right is where Crunch lives with Tani and the rest of the Bandigers in their tree house... thing [I forget what it's called ><]

I am well chuffed with how this has come out and my new shading technique has worked a charm on it too |D It's a shame I still can't do fur effects in PS ><

Oh and that path in the middle is the path Crunch bounded up to catch Hauk, in mid stride might I add. Hauk nearly fell over when a purple streak zipped past him XD

Hauk has a very fuzzy back; it's so cute >3< And that's the only part of his body that actually lets his fur frizz up; it's only to make him look more intimidating, same goes with the fur on his head and cheeks; they also frizz but that's more to do with it being cold.

Oh and Hauk's ears are always down, they are only ever up when he's confused, happy or in a playful mood [which is very rare might I add with him being so short-tempered].
